Location Location - California Model

My good friend and client who I have done many shoots with Ms. bekka H. She is a former Phoenix Suns Hip Hop Dancer and all around sweetheart, contacted me from California (Where she resides now) Stating she would have a few hours to shoot the day before Thanksgiving and was wondering If I would be available. I of course took it on. She so much Fun to work with! She needed some dance style shots and some Boudouir shots as well. We shot entirely in my home and it worked out perfectly. We shot for about 5-6 hours straight and were able to fit two shoots in that time frame :)Here is the final Product. ENJOY! :)

I had the privilege of photographing Michelle and Pablo at this beautiful place called Heritage Square in downtown Phoenix. Michelle and Pablo are not just beautiful on the outside. They were truly one of the most kind, down to earth, lovely couples I’ve photographed. I felt honored to be their Photographer for the day. They were so in love and happy...and it showed thru the camera lense. I wanted to do traditional shots but then I also wanted to mix it up with something fun and goofy for them. As they are the happiest couple I figured they would get a kick out of these... They met up with me in the EARLY hours of sunrise downtown ...(by the way Phoenix is GORGOUSE at sunrise!) I heard of this adorable little store called Smeeks, Its a Candy store unlike anything Ive ever seen and I knew this place would bring the inner child out of anyone who entered. (and boy did it!) We all had so much fun!

Scottsdale Art Walk 2010 November

I was just walking past this gallery after doing a commercial shoot in old town.
It just so happened to be the same night as the Art Walk Scottsdale has. I passed this gallery and stopped....it was amazing! Fully Painted head to toe art models in a all glass enclosure posing so still you couldnt tell if they were "real" or not.
I walked in and talked to the artist Ms. Brenda P. She is truely an inspiration!
Here are a few shots from the gallery.
Enjoy! :)

Happy Halloween Belated!

I wanted to do a creepy scary theme for this Halloween...just for fun!
here are some behind the scenes images and a final image! Thank you to EPIC for letting us use your property for the shoot and a Thank you to AzIceMan for donating the 300 lb Ice blocks we used in it as well!
I built the set with a crew and makeup artist Caitlyn was on scene as well! and yes..we lit the ice on fire! :)

Creepy! Scary and water?

I had been contacted by a fairly new model, to photograph her and so here we went on another roadtrip! i love hiking and treking thru forrest and or countryside to get specific spots nobody can easily get too. :)
Sam was up for the adventure! here is a sneak peek from Beautiful to SCARY just in time for HALLOWEEN!!
:)

Sedona!!!

I literraly have been dying to get out of town..see the leaves change color and go on a ADVENTURE! i decided over night, that Sedona was the place to be! So I brought Ms. Michelle and Ms. Nuvia (models) with me and off we went. ROADTRIP! but a roadtrip isnt a roadtrip without another phtoographer, I brought Mr. Nick G. and michelle's boyfriend as well.
He was great with the lighting gear! Thank you Pablo!

Sedona was GORGOUSE!!!!!! Perfect timing...the weather was a lil chilly, the sky was dark with thunderstorm clouds and the creek was flowing and freezing! The background was a mixture of blackberry plants and Brightly lit colors of red, yellow and green...
here are a few sneak peeks at a couple I have done already of Nuvia and Michelle!

Katie and her adorable Furry friend! @ The farm

Got a referral thru another client of mine to do a photoshoot of ms. Katie and her adorable pup named Izzy! Katie and Izzy were such a joy to work with! Izzy was the happiest dog ever! and definetly not camera shy! :)
These two happily showed their fav model poses at the Farm @ south mountain and I was there to capture it on film!

Photoshoot all day at the Farm @ South Mountain....I believe I found a new Treasure ! I loved it!
It was soo Green....with Trees! lol...(hard to find in this Arizona desert...
I brought my son Ky with and he had more fun taking pictures OF me when I wasn't looking with my cell phone..lol. He actually did a really good job...he has an ":eye" for photography surely...
At the end of the shoot he was pretty tuckered out...probably more bored than anything...haha how fun is it to watch "mommy" photograph people? :)
I keep telling him he's lucky to have a mother who always has a camera in hand, he will thank me when he is older...:) I snapped a few of him when he wasn't looking and made a storyboard...and this is what I got :)
He is getting sooo BIG! I want him to stay little forever <3

Got a NEW Canon 5D Mark II....Finally!

Soo this image of FORD model Natasha Z. I call this image "ROMAN"
I name my images because they are my "Art" :)
So this shoot will definetly go down in the books as one of my "Greats" It was an AMAZING shoot...however. Right after I took this photograph I was up in a tree pictured here....
and I dropped my camera Nikon D300. Needless to say i finished the shoot...however, It spent atleast a month in the repair shop and now its pretty much brand new all new parts and accessories....but i just felt the time was right to "Upgrade" So ladies and gentleman....I made the switch to CANON. I have always been a nikon shooter but ive always wanted Canon....The Canon 5D Mark II is hard to beat...with ISO reaching 6400 Calibrated range its 21 megapixel CMOS sensor and Movie recording in live view (1080 p)
I had been looking at this camera for awhile....
Yesterday I brought it home and today I photographed a wedding and wow..it was like trying to learn chinese in one day..lol
Can we say..."LOST"? lol. I got the hang of it and loved my wedding shots from today.....Canon was the right choice...and the 5D...well its an Amazing peice of equipment....im convinced its not just a camera..but rather....."A Machine". :)
